My Bio
I started making Wügles in 2002 while I was in high school. They all started out as what you pretty much see here. A ball for a body. Two balls for hands/feet/whatever. And Two big eyes. At first I made them all into animals (Pigs, Bats, Scorpions). My brother (and my biggest fan) encouraged me to pick up my clay again for the Jimmy Fund. People reacted in such a positive way that I began making more and more Wügles and began selling them at local anime conventions.

Tools of the Trade
Clay, a knife, and a garlic press. (seriously)
I'm starting to expand beyond conventions and art shows.  While we work to raise money to buy more clay and a new website, I'm selling any wugles I have in stock, and taking commissions as well.  Most wugles run between $10 - $15, $10 for most of what I've posted here on DA, $15 for very detailed or large wugles that take multiple bakes (Like Sasori).  If you're interested you can email me at wugle maker @ g mail . com (without the spaces).

PorcFest 2011

0 min read
Wow, it's been a while since I've been crafting Wügles in such huge quantities.  But PorcFest is fast approaching and I'm back to work.  I'll be updating soon with pix of the PorcFest Wügles, and if anybody is attending and has suggestions for designs I'm all ears.  Of course I'm making Porcupines as well as chibi Vs from V for Vendetta.  I'll also be making a few that I won't be posting pix of, so you'll have to find me to see the whole selection.  PorcFest attendees can also request commissions so long as they can pic them up at the event.  I still haven't found a fool proof way to ship these little guys.

Merry Christmas Everyone! This past month I've been offering to do Christmas Commission Wügles.  I kept it a little hushed up and local, but I got fourteen orders.  I got to make some anime characters from series I haven't seen yet (Tsubasa) and was even challenged by making a set of real people into Wügles.  I'll be posting pictures after I've delivered the last of the Wügles to their new homes.
